The performance of a multilevel multifunctional solar inverter under various control methods

Photovoltaic (PV) inverters are now supposed to provide additional supporting services with more reliability and efficiency. This paper presents three different control methods for generating reference current in a multifunctional, multilevel grid-tied PV inverter harmonic, reactive, unbalance compensation. These the synchronous frame (SRF) theory (d-q), instantaneous reactive power (IRP) (p-q), conservative (CPT). As result, primary goal is propose low-cost multifunctional solar invert distributed generation, an appropriate prototype developed laboratory experimental validation of various modes operation. Demonstrated results show that presented capable providing ancillary all types control.
